Vintage Cake Smash Milestone Photography

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing Miss Octavia through her first year and this milestone session TOOK THE CAKE! For her One Year Birthday session we met in the park to stage a vintage Cake Smash! Inspired by her beautiful pink and peach floral birthday crown and simple home-baked birthday cake, we captured timeless images of this beautiful baby girl. Her sweet mama picks the most adorable outfits and chose a personalized white ruffled romper for this warm summer day. I made sure to bring some of the natural and neutral studio props to give her images a vintage feel.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when Mom set the cake down - but Octavia cautiously started to explore the icing. She took her own sweet time devouring her birthday cake. As her special baby doll watched the show, she licked every finger clean!

Sweet Octavia loves being outdoors so where better to capture her First Birthday milestone session than in the park! I just adore her big beautiful eyes!
