Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers
Grand Opening
Kokomo Indiana Event Photography
Kicking off 2024 with exciting new adventures! I had the opportunity to capture the Grand Opening of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers new location in Kokomo, Indiana. After driving past the construction for many months, I was soooo excited to check out their newest restaurant’s completion. I’ve been a fan of their delicious chicken fingers (and, mmmm… Cane’s sauce!) since I first experienced it in West Lafayette a few years back. When I arrived in the early hours of daylight, I got a firsthand look at the gorgeous building lit up. Each Cane’s location hosts a few familiar murals that I couldn’t wait to capture. Inside and out, this chicken-lover’s paradise was sparkling!
The Opening Team of management and store employees were so friendly and great to work with! They all worked diligently to tie up loose ends, as customers started lining up at the door for a chance at prizes! We assembled outside while the ramped up the tunes.
DJ Caesar and the Kokomo High School cheerleaders brought the energy to keep us fired up on a cold January morning. Twenty customers were awarded with FREE chicken for a year. Restaurant manager Kody Augustine received awards from area reps. Raising Cane’s also presented donations to Kokomo High School and Indiana University Kokomo athletics groups. Mayor Goodnight and several Chamber of Commerce members gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony before the doors officially opened and the first customers were cheered through the store.
It was an honor to be apart of the celebration! I loved being on location to candidly capture and document this important day in the city of Firsts!
