This time of year is just magical! Fall has always been my favorite season for many reasons - but the magical light tops them all! I met up with the Rhodes family at Lafayette, Indiana’s Fairfield Lakes Park for the most heart-warming family photography session. I honestly adore this family! They make me feel right at home whenever we are together. The kids were anxious to show me all around this family-favorite location where they’ve spent a lot of time. They told me how relaxing the park was for them over the past year. From hiking through fall foliage to skipping rocks on the Wildcat Creek, we captured some tender and playful moments as a family.

I strive to deliver a gallery with a wide variety of photographs - from posed portraits to candid action shots to artistically edited images that emotionally speak to mama’s heart. I never know which images will be a family’s favorites. Maybe it’s the perfect close-up that captures a sweet smile and sparkling eyes. Or an improptu laugh between siblings while playing. The hardest part is narrowing down your favorites!
