at Restoration Holistic Wellness Center
I’m so excited to introduce you to a new wellness center in North Central Indiana! Restoration Holistic Wellness Center is now open for business! I’ve been working with owner and massage therapist Erica Wallace of Bringhurst, Indiana for over a year to launch this one-of-a-kind facility. From the website design to brand photography, it’s been an exciting journey to watch Erica’s dream come to life.
Erica started out learning equine massage for horses - and soon after she became certified as Massage Therapist for people. Her passion for using her hands to heal expanded into pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (commonly called PEMF or MagnaWave PEMF for animals.) Living in rural Carroll County, she couldn’t help but wonder how she could intertwine her healing to help both humans and their animal companions by creating a holistic center for businesses beyond her own.
Restoration Holistic Wellness Center is a 16,600 sq. ft. facility equipped with 5 private treatment rooms, a large gathering room for group seminars and trainings, and client lounge with a coffee bar. The RHWC indoor arena provides a spacious area for equine bodywork, massage and MagnaWave PEMF treatments for horses, dogs, and livestock/large animals. But the healing doesn’t just take place inside! The Center is surrounded by peaceful pastures and six miles of horseback riding trails with Wildcat Creek Horse Park.
Erica has invited 4 other small business owners to join in her venture.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to ride, Rossville, Indiana equine trainer Olivia Quinton of OHANA EQUINE offers horse riding lessons for kids and adults. Olivia also provides horse training and seasonal tune-ups. I had the opportunity to visit while a few of her clients’ families were taking a group lesson. It was such a fun, positive environment - and I love the encouragement that these walls bring. However, on a beautiful evening after a gentle rain, I’d much rather be shooting outdoors! The kids and adults tacked up for a quick ride on the trails - conveniently located out the back doors.
With a Brand Photography session, my goals are to create a wide variety of content. From close-ups to action shots, our session isn’t necessarily “candid” but is actually quite thought out. Beforehand, Erica and I discussed all of the aspects of her business that she might want to showcase - from the facility, to the people, to the feel/style of the images. I come prepared with a variety of equipment to accomplish the task - from lenses and lighting, to lots of prompts! The final edited images are ready to go on her web site, social media platforms, and print marketing.
Custom Builders Brad and Chandler Eurit of ESC HOMES did an awesome job bringing Erica’s vision to life! From en suite bath facilities to a kitchenette in the Gathering room, the details were well thought out and provide so much functionality!
